Mäuseturm Bingen

This is a picture of a small tower in the River Rhine. The tower is called "Mäuseturm", which means mouse-tower. It is situated at the beginning of one of the most beautiful parts of the Rhine where the river undulates between the Hunsrück and Eifel area from Bingen to Koblenz. The tower is near Bingen on a small island in the Rhine, close to where the river Nahe joins the Rhine.

The castle in the forground is a ruin, and it's called Burg Ehrenfels. Bingen is on the other riverbank, opposite of Rüdesheim, which would be to the left on the picture.

And here is another view of the tower and the castle from the Bingen side of the river.
