This is a picture taken from in front of our house down at the town of Bingen and Bingerbrück. To the left it is bordered by the river Rhine and the river Nahe (which cannot be seen because of the houses) flows from the right towards the Rhine parting Bingen in the back of the Picture and Bingerbrück which is closer to the viewer.

The center of Bingen is formed by a castle called "Burg Klopp". Every year there are many occasions on which there are fireworks in and around the castle and along the Rhine and the castles that dot the riverbanks to the right and left of the river.

To the very left on the other side of the river you can see a part of the famous city of Rüdesheim.

On the "Rochusberg" in the background there is a lovely church. And on a very very clear day one might be able to see Mainz on the upper left corner of the picture. It is about 30 km from our house.
